Hi, I’m Maria & I am a fully qualified Level 3 Postnatal Exercise Instructor & a member of the Guild of Pregnancy & Postnatal exercise Instructors UK

Legs, Bums & Mums was created to help new mothers regain their figure and fitness in a structured programme. It also gives you and your baby some fresh air and without the need to pay for childcare and a great opportunity to link with a local network of mums.

Our classes have been running for over 7 years with hundreds of mothers taking part in our training program.  We keep each class size to a small number to ensure that we can focus on each individual taking part.  This makes sure that everyone gets the most out of the session.

I have 2 children of my own so I know the challenges that exist for mothers trying to get back in shape whilst trying to care for their new arrival. I found that structured exercise made a big difference to my energy levels and positivity, and the classes have been designed with this in mind.

I also provide talks relating to Ante & Postnatal fitness at local children’s centres & health centres – if you wish to attend one of these please contact me for more information

Isla is 13 months now and I was worried she would get bored but Beddington Park is lovely and she is kept entertained laughing at me and the other mums doing our exercises! Maria is brilliant! She’s a great motivator and I’d recommend this class to any new mums who feel they’d like to improve their fitness but don’t quite know where to start. Maria’s classes cater for all abilities, and she uses her expertise to tailor the exercises so that we all get the most out of them without doing any damage to our post-pregnancy bodies! And it’s great for the babies to be out in the fresh air. I used to do a lot of sport, and wanted to get a bit fit again. I started going to Maria’s class in Caterham when my baby was 3 months old, gradually built up the amount of exercise I did, and by 6 months I was able to run 10k again – very happy!

I have wanted to do a class like this since my eldest was born (he is now 2). I also have a 7 month old and thought it was time to bite the bullet to shift those remaining baby pounds. I’ve been going to Maria’s classes in Beddington Park for a couple of weeks and I love them! I wish I had started them ages ago. I take both boys along in the double buggy and they love it. If its feed time and I am due to run, Maria helps out holding bub’s bottle until it’s time for lunges again! I look forward to going and wish there was another class closer to my home. It’s great to be able to exercise and be with my sons at the same time – afterwards you can feed the ducks (a good way to keep the 2 year old interested!) Thanks Maria for starting to get me fit again and into my old jeans!

The safety of you and your baby is our primary responsibility in our classes and something we do not compromise on.  Although we think it is great to have babies involved in the class, our instructors would never ask you to run with your baby in the buggy or with the baby in your arms.  We believe this is dangerous and risks injury to you and your child.
